Join us on Sunday August 2nd at 2pm SHARP to learn and relax with groovy people in nature.
We’ll be walking around identifying mushrooms and learning about their spooky powers at Salem Highland park, meeting at the golf course 75 Willson St, Salem, MA (Google map here).
Do not be late because you may not be able to find us :)
Our events are for all ages, stages, and experience levels, so don’t be shy if you’re new to the world of fungi. This forage will be led by our teammate Darren, whose speciality helping beginners learn how to begin their journey into identifying fungi and nature photography!
We will have custom Bay Staters Mushroom Note Books available for donation if you want to support our mission of bringing nature and health education to all.
This event is rain or shine. Mushrooms love the rain!
Please wear comfy, close-toed shoes, wear sunscreen, and bring some water.
This event is fun and accessible for all ages (family friendly). Leashed companions allowed!
