Join us on Saturday, September 19th at 10am SHARP to learn and relax as you learn how mushrooms have shaped our world.

We’re excited to welcome you to our third Jamaica Plain mushroom forage so far this year - a great way to meet new friends who care about fungi, nature, and healing. Our events are for all ages, stages, and experience levels, so don’t be shy if you’re new to the world of fungi. This forage will be led by our teammate James, who specializes in the anthropology of mushrooms. That is, how mushrooms have intimately shaped our species and our world today.

Please show up right at 10am or you could get accidentally left behind!

Donations are welcome to support our work and show appreciation.

This event is rain or shine. Mushrooms love the rain!

Please wear comfy, close-toed shoes, wear sunscreen, and bring some water.

This event is fun and accessible for all ages (family friendly). Leashed companions allowed!

If you have a disability, we will happily accommodate you: team@baystatersnm.com

We cannot condone removing or disturbing fungi or plants because this is a common rule in many public areas.

Please feel free to sign up here for more updates and to be added to the google calendar event.
