Join us to celebrate our collective fungal futures, learning about the foundational ecological role of fungi and their revolutionary history in shaping human cultures around the world.
A blend of comedy, meeting groovy people, and mycology education, we're excited to be hosting Allston Mushroom Fest at Groovy Thrifty - an indie thrift shop electrifying Allston-Brighton. Huge shout out to its founder Sadie MacIver!
Fun for all ages and stages, including kiddos - feel free to invite one and all.
Beginning at 2pm, our attendees will be welcomed to mix and mingle with fellow mushroom fans of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds over healthful, tasty refreshments. From 2:30 to 3:30, our founders will give collaborative presentations on the fascinating world of fungi and adaptogens as we enjoy tea.
At about 3:30, attendees are welcome to continue conversations with new friends and/or join a mini-presentation on how to grow mushrooms of all kinds, using imply and easy to use grow kits that are available to take home (donations welcome!)
